Glen Cesari Promoted to Wealth Advisor

Herndon, Va. — Northwest Financial Advisors (NWFA) is pleased to announce the promotion of Glen Cesari, CFP®, from financial advisor to wealth advisor.

Based in NWFA’s Herndon, Virginia office, Cesari is a key member of a nationally top-ranked wealth management team.1,2 He serves a range of clients, many of whom are currently employed by or retired from the U.S. federal government. Embracing the firm’s wealth management model, he serves clients from a holistic view, providing objective and personalized advice based on a client’s unique situation and goals.

Cesari joined the firm in 2010 after a successful career in the U.S. Navy where he applied his analytical skills to military Special Operations planning and forecasting. He seamlessly transitioned those same skills to the role of a financial advisor in which he analyzes a client’s entire financial picture before strategically crafting an appropriate financial plan.

HERNDON, Va. — AVP of Marketing Mike Mertz was recently recognized for his girls fastpitch softball coaching success with an induction into the Virginia USSSA Hall of Fame. The ceremony was held at the Gregg-Adams Club in Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia on March 2, 2024.

Mertz, aka Coach Mertz, entered into the 2024 class of the VA Hall of Fame for his exceptional role as head coach/manager in the Virginia Glory fastpitch organization for the past 13 years.
