Northwest Financial Advisors Promotes Kim Heffernan to Financial Advisor

Herndon, Va. Northwest Financial Advisors (NWFA), a nationally recognized wealth management firm,1 today announced the promotion of Kim Heffernan from associate financial advisor to financial advisor.

Heffernan has been with the firm for approximately three and a half years, assisting the Cesari wealth management team and directly serving clients in the firm’s Herndon, Virginia headquarters. She currently manages a book of nearly 300 clients, many of whom are employees or retirees of the federal government.

“Kim has acquired an impressive amount of financial education and licensing in her early career,” said Kevin Fisher, president and CEO of Northwest Financial Advisors. “This, combined with her proclivity to do what it takes to provide a high level of service to clients, is what earned her this promotion. Kim earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance/Financial Planning from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech). Shortly after joining NWFA, she obtained her FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licensing,2 as well as the respected CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification.
