Northwest Financial Advisors Honored For Service And Delivery Of Advice To Clients

Firm Lands in Top 5 of LPL Financial’s 800 Financial Institution Investment Programs

HERNDON, Va. — Northwest Financial Advisors (NWFA) has been named a 2021 Top Investment Program by LPL Financial, a partner to the program providing comprehensive investment and wealth management services.

During LPL’s annual Program Leaders Conference, held Feb. 16-18 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., NWFA and its financial professionals were recognized for their growth as well as the use of innovation and leadership in driving change. Led by Senior VP Karen Benedict, the program was among only five of approximately 800 LPL Financial programs located within banks and credit unions to earn similar recognition.

HERNDON, Va. — AVP of Marketing Mike Mertz was recently recognized for his girls fastpitch softball coaching success with an induction into the Virginia USSSA Hall of Fame. The ceremony was held at the Gregg-Adams Club in Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia on March 2, 2024.

Mertz, aka Coach Mertz, entered into the 2024 class of the VA Hall of Fame for his exceptional role as head coach/manager in the Virginia Glory fastpitch organization for the past 13 years.
